SUMMER OF CELEBRITY DEATH

With the summer halfway over it seems like this is the summer of celebrity death........and the summer of rain.
The summer of 2009 kicked off with the king of pop, Michael Jackson, leading the pack.  He died about 5 hours after Farrah Fawcett on June 25th but totally buried her with all of the press.  Farrah has been fighting cancer for some time and made a film about her struggle.  I am sure she wanted the world to greave about her after her death and making this film she would have one last chance in the limelight.  The world and the underworld doesn't work that way and Michael Jackson needed to die to save us the press about Farrah.  She made her "I'm dying" film and that was more than enough so, enough about Farrah.  After Mr. Jackson and Farrah Fawcett, Ed McMahon joined the list. Good. Now I can cross him off my death list.  He's been on it for as long as I can remember or when I made my first death list at age 7.  He was listed right after Johnny Carson.  My death list has many non famous people on it and If I ever told you you've "just made da list pal"  that meant your ass!
To date, the summer of celebrity death has a dozen or so notable deaths and they include, Billy Mays......"Billy Mays here to tell you about Oxy-Clean!"  I'm glad I don't have to listen to that bullshit anymore and what was with the beard and blue shirt?  I didn't know you personally and I'm glad I didn't.  I hope they take you off TV now that your dead.  David Carradine joined the list.  I grew up watching "Cain walking the earth, looking for adventures".  Other celebrity deaths so far this summer include; Steve McNair, Dom DeLuise, Karl Malden, Walter Cronkite, Arturo Gatti and director John Hughes who I met back in the early nineties.
With about six weeks left in the summer I have some predictions of my own.  These people are not on my death list and I don't wish them death, they're just my predictions, that's all.
Patrick Swayze
Fidel Castro
Amy Winehouse
Nic Nolte
Gene Hackman
Osama Bin Laden.....That would be a big death to end the summer!   Oh yeah, let us hope that it stops raining already I've got holiday coming up.

BACK FROM BRUSSELS

Back in the states.  Been hiding out in the low country of Europe for almost a year.

Cannot say what I've been up to on account of the Federal Government.

This picture was taken in Paris, not Brussels, on one of my many weekend get-a-ways.

This Blog will take on the true meaning of why it was created............

I guess you'll find out.
